Location is a big plus, right next to Lincoln Center. Rooftop bar has a lively atmosphere, perfect for drinks. The room was small and the air conditioning was noisy at times. Overall, decent for the price.

Location is perfect, right across from Lincoln Center. Rooftop bar has a great vibe but it was too small when we visited. Room was cramped, with little space around the bed. No free Wi-Fi in the rooms was frustrating.

The room was a bit worn but generally clean. The beds were comfortable, and the daily housekeeping was a nice touch after long days of exploring. Shower pressure diminished after the first few days; water temperature fluctuated. Noise from the hall and nearby rooms was noticeable, especially at night. The air conditioning was temperamental, impacting comfort. The bathroom needed a renovation; the door didn’t close properly, and some areas had a slight musty smell. the view was delightful, and natural light filled the space. A strong staff presence, always ready to assist, enhanced the overall experience.

The shower faucet was broken, and I had to wait for someone to let me into my room every time. It felt like a hassle I didn’t sign up for, especially on a trip.

The hotel experience varied significantly. The complimentary upgrade was a pleasant surprise, particularly with spacious rooms that feature comfortable beds. The staff were friendly—shout out to Steve, who was exceptionally personable and offered great local recommendations. Housekeeping maintained our room well, and access to free bottled water daily was appreciated. there are areas that need attention. The hotel shows signs of age and could benefit from a refresh. There were minor issues, like elevator accessibility, but nothing too alarming. The rooftop bar offered stunning views but was often crowded. This is a solid choice for its location and staff friendliness, yet a little more attention to detail would elevate the overall experience.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby looks glamorous, and the rooftop terrace is a nice hangout spot.
The rooms are dated and need some TLC.

During my recent stay, I was thrilled to find that this hotel is directly across from Lincoln Center, making it perfect for attending performances, and with just a short walk, I could also enjoy Central Park, Columbus Circle, and the vibrant areas around 5th Avenue; additionally, I discovered numerous fantastic restaurants like Rosa Mexicano and The Smith, all just minutes away, which made my strolls delightful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience, but I did notice that the rooms were a bit cramped with some wear and tear.

The location near Lincoln Center is unbeatable, making it perfect for concert-goers. that’s where the positives end. Check-in took way too long, and once inside the room, it was a letdown—worn furniture, a broken bathroom door, and a fridge that barely worked. The rooftop bar offers great views but is incredibly crowded and not prioritized for hotel guests. Despite the friendly staff, the lack of proper maintenance and amenities really detracted from the experience. it needs a serious overhaul.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooftop pool often busy and hard to get seating.

The Empire Hotel offers a uniquely decorated space that captures 70s charm. The staff stands out for their friendliness and helpfulness, making guests feel welcomed. Despite some maintenance issues, the fantastic location and cozy rooftop make it a memorable stay in the heart of Manhattan.

Our family loved staying near Madison Square Garden, soaking in the energy of thrilling games and epic concerts. The central location made it easy for us to explore the city's vibrant entertainment scene, creating unforgettable memories together.
My kids wished for a dedicated children's play area in the hotel.

The hotel had a nice pool for the kids and a solid breakfast spread each morning. Staff were friendly and quick to help us with any requests.
It wasn't inexpensive, but the value was still reasonable.

So, let me start with the positives. The location was absolutely fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better spot. The outdoor rooftop bar and pool were a highlight, and the manager there was super friendly. The rooms were spacious, which was a big plus for me. But, there were definitely some areas that needed improvement. The air conditioning in my room was ancient and way too noisy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. I found a cockroach in my bathroom, which was not a pleasant surprise at all. It took multiple calls to reception before it was finally dealt with, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. On a more positive note, the Wi-Fi worked well for me, and I was relieved as I had read some reviews mentioning issues with it. The hotel was also close to the Lincoln Center, which was convenient for me. There were some great aspects like the location and the rooftop bar, but the outdated facilities and cleanliness issues left a bit to be desired. Hope this review helps others in making an informed decision!

Had a blast at the rooftop bar, vibes were great, and the location was top, notch, right smack in the heart of Manhattan. Staff were chill and welcoming, perfect spot for a catch, up sesh with my mates.
Room was a downer , no coffee, old windows brought in all the noise, broken faucet, and ancient A/C. Staff were a letdown too, zero enthusiasm.

The location was fantastic! Right in a lovely neighborhood with great dining options and easy access to public transportation. The daily cleaning service was excellent, providing fresh towels and a spotless room. The comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep.
The room was a bit outdated and small. The air conditioning was quite noisy, making it challenging for light sleepers.

Warmly welcomed, felt at home with friendly staff. Chic pool deck with stunning views. Amenities were top-notch, designer chaise lounges and poolside bar were a plus. A less-congested location near Central Park and Lincoln Center was ideal.
Heaters making loud noises were perfect for my sleep meditation playlist.

Great location, but rooms need serious updates and staff wasn't very welcoming.

Yo, my squad and I stayed here after hitting up Madison Square Garden and Central Park – talk about lit vibes! The rooftop pool was the cherry on top, perfect for chilling after a day of non-stop fun. The location is prime for us party people and the staff were mad cool.
If I could wish for one thing, it would be for a sick nightclub vibe within the hotel itself. Imagine having a dance floor right there – next-level party right there!

I was pleasantly surprised with the 35% discount I found on the hotel's website. The rooftop bar provided amazing views of the city, perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The stylish and well-appointed room, along with the excellent bar cuisine, made for an amazing weekend. I highly recommend the Empire! I'll recommend this hotel.

we stayed at Empire and found the location to be excellent, right by Lincoln Center and a short walk to Central Park. We enjoyed the rooftop and the convenient subway access. Although the room was a bit dark, it was spacious and comfortable.
Not one thing 🙅

My stay at this hotel was an overall enjoyable experience. The desk staff, especially Pasquale, were incredibly helpful and accommodating with our room request. The location was perfect, with Central Park and great restaurants just a stone's throw away. The hotel's lobby decor was stunning, and the rooftop pool and deck were a nice bonus. I felt safe as a solo traveler, thanks to the hotel's proximity to Lincoln Center.
There were a few issues with the room that detracted from the overall experience. The room showed signs of deterioration, with peeling wallpaper and exposed air-conditioning cables.
